The best Mexican in Port Angeles! Decor inspired by the Seattle music scene. If you are a lover of alt rock you have to stop here! People were already waiting outside for it to open when my group arrived. I got the Little devils taco salad with shredded chicken. The jalapeño ranch dressing is delicious! It came with guac, black beans, salsa and more! It was really refreshing after eating tons of seafood on my trip to Washington. My sister got "the jonny" burrito, and it was huge! All burritos and tacos come with chips and salsa and we got the verde. It was pretty mild with a tiny bit of heat to it! My mom got the special which was some savory brisket tacos with their chucacarba salsa. Order at the counter and then the little devils lunchbox staff brings you your food. The people working at Little devils were so friendly! I really hope I'll be able to visit again someday!

I'm a huge burrito fanatic, so I sought this place out. The burrito is definitely a Major League Burrito. Big-time taste and size. The atmosphere of the Lunchbox was kind of cool-lots of sweet a$$ posters on the wall and the staff seemed to carry that same character as they worked. I don't really care about this, but some people might: the cooking staff is like 5-10 feet away from customers, so the normal bickering and talking $hit that goes on in a normal kitchen can't really fly here. Other than that? It was awesome-I want to come back and try the sandwiches.

On the outside, it appears run down ad a hole in the wall place but on the inside it really is quite charming. Their prices are good and service was friendly. There is also this eccentric punk decor if that's your thing. We ordered three tacos which came with chips and salsa. The pineapple salsa was truly delightful: light, refreshing and fresh. We had two beef brisket taco and one pulled pork. Quite good and one factor was probably also due to how ravenous we were. They have a variation of corn and flour tortillas so I wasn't quite which ones better. The rest of the menu also appears to be delicious.

Oh man! So freaking good! I got the drunken chicken it was so juicy and full of flavor. They really should bottle their bbq sauce! The cilantro coleslaw was amazing. My husband hates coleslaw but he finished every last bite. He got the pulled pork tacos and Verde salsa with his tortilla chips. It's just so fresh and flavorful! The place is freaking cool. Alternative concert decor was fun to stare at and read. They have a ton of different hot sauce bottles on every table. The only downfall is its limited seating. But tables open up quickly. I didn't see anyone standing around by the time their food came.

Rad little spot. Really legit tacos, solid beer selection and cool rock and roll vibe. Sandwiches look very solid as well the service was super-friendly.

SO GOOD!!!! What a cool little hole in the wall place! The brisket tacos were amazing!!! The pineapple salsa was super..... now I have to figure out how to make it!! Thanks for a great lunch!

My wife and I came for lunch and I tried their Pulled Pork Burrito. It was pulled pork in a flour tortilla, with black beans (or pinto, if you choose), rice, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and tomato salsa. The pork was well flavored, smoky, and not too dry. The rice was a tad undercooked because I definitely bit into some harder grains, but everything else tasted good. It was a generous-sized burrito, too. The burrito came with chips and salsa, and I tried the pineapple salsa and ghost pepper salsa. The ghost pepper salsa was HOT, as advertised, but thankfully I had the pineapple salsa to cool things down. I enjoyed both, but would not recommend the ghost pepper salsa unless you are a serious heat seeker. The pineapple salsa was sweet, light, and not spicy - it's worth trying. My wife ordered the Devil's Pork sandwich, which was had pulled pork with slaw and BBQ sauce on a ciabatta roll. The meat was the same as the pork they used in my burrito, and the slaw was light and crunchy, adding a needed layer of texture and coolness to the sandwich. My favorite part was probably the ciabatta roll - it was firm enough to hold everything together, but was still soft enough to bite into comfortably. The service was friendly and we got our food in a timely manner. The ambiance was very interesting, being very devil / skull themed with posters of punk rock bands and punk rock music in the background. Nothing bad about it, just different. At least it's consistent with the restaurant's name, and probably is the feel they are going for anyway.

My parents, husband and I ate here. Thank you to the previous reviewers. We had the special pork crunch burritos and the taco salad with chicken. Best we've ever had. I would highly recommend this place to locals and travelers alike!!!

  • Brittany W.

This place is fantastic! I had the taco salad and it was the best I have ever had (and I've tried A LOT of them). My husband had the veggie burrito and it was also great. Their prices are also phenomenal. If I lived in Port Angeles I would eat here all the time! Seriously go eat here.

WOW! What a nice surprise. Excellent sandwich, people are friendly, cool little joint in the middle of Port Angeles!

  • Sean C.

Small, brightly colored and cheery spot. The service was pleasant and helpful, despite there being a line of waiting customers. We got the shrimp salad, and a chicken taco salad. Both were excellent. The shrimp salad has a citrus spicy dressing that was magic in the mouth. The chicken salad was also superb. We would veer out of our way to go to this spot again.

  • Taylor N.

Really solid place for a sparsely populated area. Tasty chorizo and smoked pork but the tortillas were nothing like I'm used to in the LA area. Guess I'm spoiled but this place was a really nice surprise for the area.

  • Joe V.

This place is spectacular! I got the beer an chicken tacos and they blew my mind! So flavorful and juicy! If ever in port Angeles, do yourself a favor and check this place out!

It reminds me of that taco place in Austin, TX. Great atmosphere, good service. I great place to have in good ol' P.A.!

We really like this place. Small business with strong food! They put a lot of effort into their menu items. Food is fresh and tasty and well prepared. What more could you ask for? They had five or six tables so you can sit down and eat it is fresh as possible. We like small businesses that take pride in what they offer and care about their customers. This hits the mark on both counts.

Fun place with a rockin atmosphere. Very tasty tacos, worth sampling a few kinds. Would definitely go again.

Comfortable laid back spot. I didn't stop ordering until I ran out of money. Would recommend the tacos, or the Cuban sandwich.

Amazing food big portions friendly service great lunch spot smoked meats are amazing. A small dinning area but well worth the trip

  • Daren W.

A great place for a no nonsense burrito. I've eaten here about 5 times now and my favorite offering is the smoker burrito with the chupacabra salsa. One of the better salsas I've ever had and its smoky flavor goes great with the smoked brisket in the burrito. Staff is always friendly, atmosphere is unique, and the food is always good. Definitely a gem on the Olympic Peninsula

Awesome! Food is tasty and unique and a wonderful option for lunch or early dinner in PA. The staff are always friendly and professional and there's usually some good tunes in the background. Lots of cool memorabilia from punk shows. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good food and hoping to help the local small business owners.

What a tasty little shop! A delight for the senses! I had the NOLA-a Spicey sandwich of prawns jalepenos pickled red onion and a crunchy roll. Hubs had the pulled picked which looked and smelled like a like BBQ happening! Check this spit out on your next trip t town!

Brought some friends from Arizona here last week for some grub. I ordered the shrimp sandwich again since it was so good last time. It did not disappoint, still super delicious. My friends were delighted at the food they ordered and I think I convinced one of them to move here during our meal lol . This was the first time I had the pineapple sauce and it blew us all away. Truly amazing taste. Come to think of it, those chips are the best I've ever had anywhere in the country or abroad. The staff is super awesome and you can really tell when chefs put the love into what they cook. I would recommend this place to anyone in PA.

Another perfect meal at little devils lunchbox. My favorite lunch place in port angeles, consistent, fast, mouthwatering good. Love that they smoke their meat and have pickled veggies.

The fact is - this place is such an oddity. They could stumble into some kind of pretentiousness with what they do - but they absolutely do NOT. They are completely committed to making real food. The food is - without a doubt - the BEST food on the entire Peninsula. But the service - goes beyond that. There are restaurants I go to because they are pleasant, affordable and the food is acceptable. But here - it feels like you are walking into a restaurant run by your uncle - using your grandmothers best recipes. You feel completely at home - even if it is your first time showing up. It is also so kid friendly. My son has a million allergies. We totally messed up - and forgot to get his taco with no cheese - and when we went to buy another Kids Taco (cuz they are crazy cheap) they insisted on remaking his order for free. I once went in right at closing. They actually totally let us order and eat there and did not make us feel like we where violating the unspoken rule of the customer restaurateur code( though we totally were) They will make your order however you want it. They are completely accommodating and patient and kind. The prices are amazing, the portions are amazing, the quality is phenomenal! This place actually rivals any of the best restaurants in Chicago. And they are still humble. And that they chose to land and place roots here in Port Angeles - that is an absolute honor and privileged. We are crazy lucky to have them.

We had awesome burritos and would come back again. Service was fast and the restaurant was clean.

Surprisingly great food and service. We were looking for something fast and good, and we got it! This place has a rock 'n roll vibe and awesome burritos. Yum!

Stopped by while on a road trip. Hubby had the special burrito, I had the sandwich with pulled pork and slaw. Delicious!

    (4)
  • Brian G.

I have eaten here twice and the food has been great. I especially like the hot sauces and the salsas - you can get some serious heat from any of these! To many places make their sauces for wimps - these guys know how to bring on the heat - great job! The smoked brisket burrito was fantastic, one was huge and I saved half for later. All of the other items we had were good and were filled with flavor.

  • Katherine G.

I never really liked Mexican food till I ate here. It's very good! I'm very very picky and this place was just on point.

    (5)
  • Chuong D.

I'm really disappointed with this place since all the other reviews gave it 5 stars. I got the smoked pulled pork tacos and I thought the meat was pretty dry! I'm certain the pulled pork was cooked with a slow cooker and a ton of liquid smoke was added. Also, what's with the shredded lettuce? if I wanted that in my tacos, I'd have gone to Taco Bell. The pineapple salsa was actually good even though I got only a little of it for the chips. The chips were also go with the right crunch to them and were not stale. I do not recommend this place if you're expecting amazing food from all the 5 stars rating the place received.

    (2)
  • Jessica S.

Came here because of the rave reviews, and was sorely disappointed. I had the pulled pork tacos and he had the veggie burrito. I was not impressed by the pulled pork, and overall the salt level was very high. And his veggie burrito contained a bizarre, atypical combination of vegetables -- not in a good way -- and there were more home fries than rice in there. The chips were great, and the salsas were good.

    (3)
  • Candy W.

Great tacos, chorizo, pulled pork and beef brisket. Chips and pineapple salsa are both delicious. Great job guys!

  • Eric L.

Super friendly staff. Burrito and tacos are delectable. Pineapple salsa is incredibly good. I would fly 1000 miles for it. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Simple and good. Smoked meat and Mexican food are the perfect combo. Tip well and enjoy the atmosphere.

I love a good excuse to visit my sista in PA. This place is the only excuse I need. Cannott wait to go back. The food was incredible! If you're looking for some spice in your meal, this is the place to go. Favorite spot in PA.

On our way to Mora Camping we discovered this excellent Mexican place in Port Angeles. Staff is super friendly and the food is really good. Try the pineapple salsa for your chips! Recommend this a great place to stop when you are in the area. It's well worth the drive. Both my wife and I had the veggie burrito and we were very happy with the choice. The other options. Looks great too if you eat meat or chicken.

We stopped in for lunch two years ago (2013). So I'm a bit late in writing this review - but wanted to be sure to do so. Some of the best Mexican food we've ever tasted, and we were visiting from San Diego! Everything is made fresh and we easily found something for the entire family - kids and a vegetarian included.

  • Jim D.

We passed through the PA a few days ago and were recommended this place for a late lunch (around 2pm). I had the pork burrito, my wife had the special - shredded steak tacos I believe. The food was awesome! Of particular note to me: their pineapple salsa was amazing. I would buy a gallon of it. The small restaurant was cute, and the folks working there were very friendly. Food came out quick. I also enjoyed the local rootbeer, whose brand name I can't remember. You should absolutely visit this place for lunch!

  • Frank R.

Nice small place with plates for big appetites, and very reasonably priced. Never had a bad meal one in the place. 12th Man buritto is the best, as it should be with a name like that.

  • Chris G.

Little Devil's Lunchbox is a small restaurant that is BIG in taste. They have a variety of sandwiches and tex-mex food. My favorite is the drunken chicken burrito. The burritos are 14 inch tortillas and are stuffed huge. Usually it's enough to eat for both my lunch and dinner for the day. They make their own salsas and have four you can choose from. They even have great homemade soups. They always put on a good special. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Fast food can tend to be more expensive, so come here instead! The people are friendly and the service is fast. They do deliver around the downtown around. Don't miss out on this great little eatery.

  • Little T.

Absolutely awesome food at a great price. My friend from Texas visited and we got take out from here 3 times before our hikes. I really recommend their Johnny's Burrito and pineapple salsa. My friend got the Amberetta (chorizo sausage) burrito and loved it too. They are also fast, so if you call in your order, it should be ready in about 10 minutes. They do have some seating if you do decide to dine out and I love their sugar-skull picture decor:-) Yum!!

  • Natalie C.

If you stop in Port Angeles, you must try this little place! As you walk up, the scent of pulled pork, cilantro, and citrus drift out the door. As you walk in, they merge into a heavenly wall of mouthwatering aromas! Though they are touted as a Mexican restaurant, I ordered the Devil's pork sandwich. Pulled pork with apple cabbage slaw and BBQ sauce on a thick ciabatta roll. Ah-maze-ing. Came with a side of chips and pineapple salsa. My friend ordered the drunken chicken sandwich and chips with Verde salsa, and also thoroughly enjoyed her lunch as well. They we're busy, so it took a little while to get the food, but so worth the wait. Customer service was topnotch as well. My only complaint is the lack of outdoor seating. With such a large sidewalk, I think a few tables and chairs could go a long way. We chose to walk over to the pier and grub.

Awesome burrito. Customer service was nice and friendly. The food was quick and the atmosphere was nice.

  • D W.

Nice folks, the brisket burrito is excellent, beans are really good. Everybody at my table was happy. The chili is kind of blah - I have a daughter who's usually a chili hound who didn't care for it either, but she loved the beans so it all worked out. If I lived closer I'd be a regular for the burrito alone.

    (5)
  • Tawhnee D.

The smoker burrito was amazing!!! So yummy. My husband got the chorizo burrito. He like it a lot. The only thing I didn't like was the salsa. I ordered the really mild tomato salsa. They do have 4 or 5 to choose from. I just wasn't in the mood for verde and I'm allergic to pineapple. Well it tasted just like tomato sauce. My husband got the spicier salsa. It was ok. Also there is very limited seating.

  • Mikey B.

Wow! Excellent place to go to lunch.. i had the bovine which was great. Everyone raved about the 3 tacos so i had to go back and try them and they were awesome. Must place to go for lunch!

I have to say that I die just a little bit with every bite of these taco's. A little taste of heaven in small town America.

We were rolling into Port Angeles on our way to see the Olympic National Park. We needed a late lunch/early dinner for the fam. We hit up Yelp for a place to eat and viola, we found Little Devil's Lunchbox! Oh. My. Goodness. The food here was some of the best my wife and I had ever had. PERIOD. When my wife told me that it had a 5 star review before eating there I had thought maybe he paid for those reviews. NOPE. It's that good. The owner/operator was there and he definitely has a passion for details in every thing he does. He was friendly to my 3 small kids and took the time to make sure we had everything we needed. We tried 5 different kinds of salsa and the were all superior and all different. The owner makes the salsas too. My kids got the kids tacos in pork, shredded beef, and chicken. They were all amazing. My wife and I shared a smoked shredded beef brisket burrito. It was THE BEST burrito of this kind that we've tasted. It's a little hard to find Little Devil's Lunchbox. It is easy to accidentally drive by it. Don't give up. It's there on the right hand side of the street (it's a one way street). Eat there. You won't be disappointed.

  • Rob K.

Let me tell you this is a little gem of a restaurant! I would classify this restaurant as Tex-Mex with a twist! Essentially they make tacos and burritos with smoked meats. I have tried several of their burritos each with a different type of smoked meat and all are excellent! Their salsas are unique and tasty. If I yearn for good Mexican food, I go to LDL

    (5)
  • Christina L.

Great staff, awesome food!!! Great place for lunch with friends, I've never been disappointed:)

    (5)
  • Heather K.

Awesome little hole in the wall that serves giant portions, but doesn't break the wallet. If you miss breakfast a burrito will definitely fill you up, but if you aren't super hungry you could easily take 1/2 home for dinner or lunch the next day. Some tables available, although, not a lot. They do takeout as well. Will definitely be back again next time we are in the area!

    (5)
  • Mary H.

Due to the numerous great reviews on Yelp, we tried Little Devil's Lunchbox recently, expecting a great tasting meal. To our great disappointment, it was just so-so. Both of us ordered the vegetarian burrito, which included seasonal vegetables, rice, and choice of black or pinto beans, and served with chips and salsa. The burrito was not quite warm, and really heavy on rice, not enough vegetables. Chips and salsa were nothing special. We arrived just prior to the lunch hour, so they should have been up and ready with plenty of good, hot ingredients. Price was high for what was received. Others might find this a great spot, but we won't be returning.

  • Stan A.

Found this place via my Yelp app while hungry in Port Angeles. Was not disappointed. The place was small but busy. The staff was young and friendly. I had the lunch special, a pulled pork sandwich. Awesome choice! Only had one day in town, so no chance for another meal. Bummer, the rest of the menu looked great. Give this place a try if you find yourself in Port Angeles. You will not be disappointed.

  • Gary J.

had a burrito that was ok but much of it was just the huge tortilla wrap. we like more filling, less tortilla

  • Mike I.

If I had gone here my first day in PA, I would have gone everyday, Sadly, I didnt find it until my last day. This guy smokes meat like a texas bbq and then puts it in tacos and burritos, and damn it is seriously awesome. Easily my best meal in PA

    (5)
  • Kristen J.

Yes, the food here is THAT good. The tacos, especially the beef and pork, are soooo good. Expect a line, and really consider taking your food to go. The restaurant is clean and cute inside, but seating is extremely limited. If you have to wait for your food, be patient. It's worth it. Promise.

    (5)
  • rob d.

This place has the best burrito I have ever had. I had the beef brisket burrito and I could not believe the taste. A little expensive but worth every penny

Best tacos in the state!! The smoked pork and ribs are to die for. Locally and family owned. great service!

  • Hilary O.

If you want an awesome sandwich and you're in Port Angeles, this is THE place. I come out to PA once a month, and this is my lunch go to spot on my way out of town. I get the same sandwich each month (NOLA) as it's really that good, but my friends get other stuff which they rave about as well. The ambiance is great, the staff is wonderful (I once called about my bread being different than what I was used to (no big deal), but they remembered me the following month to ensure it was what I wanted and that they hadn't changed anything), and the food is awesome.

    (5)
  • Hans H.

Pretty awesome. Food really delicious and plentiful and solid value. Atmosphere and staff hippie-chill.

    (5)
  • Matthew C.

Simply put: Kick ass. A focused menu and care in the food prep deliver a fine fine burrito. There are other things (tacos, sandwiches, etc), and they look equally delicious, but I have tended to get one thing: the Devil's Chicken Burrito ($8): Shredded Beer Can Chicken, Guacamole, Cheese, Crema Mexicana and Pico de Gallo, that I order with a mix of pinto and black beans and side of ghost pepper salsa and a side if verde. It's all fresh, delicious, and about three pounds. Add a nice selection of beers and international sodas to round things out. Only challenge? It's a little cramped and can take a bit of time for the food to arrive. A small price to pay...

  • Eric D.

Perfection! This place is awesome! Great food, excellent service, good atmosphere. Try the Smokey Burrito next time you're in Port Angeles.

  • Margo L.

Found this little gem on Yelp and stopped in for a late lunch on our way through Port Angeles. Everyone was welcoming and so helpful. The place had sort of a rock n roll feel, 7-8 tables and fun colors. I got the pulled pork and my companion got the smokers burrito, both of which were very flavorful and good portions. We also shared a bowl of chili which was not spicy, but so good. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for a quality, affordable and delicious meal!

  • Dana F.

Quirky and delicious. You can happily drink the pineapple salsa. The local ginger ale was tasty.

  • Go Hawk S.

I get the feeling this place will do well for many years to come. It has the whole package... Great people running it, Great food, Great prices and Great theme decor! I've had the top four burrito's so far, and all bring something special to the taste buds. I'm torn between the pork and brisket for "The Fav", it's a tough call. The one limiting factor is the seating. As word gets out, it's going to be harder and harder to get a open seat. Guess I should stop telling everyone how awesome it is!

    (5)
  • Markie B.

Little Devil's is definitely my favorite spot. The Smoker with a side salad and their jalapeno ranch dressing...so awesome. It's usually pretty busy, but they're always really efficient and it doesn't take long to get your order. Definitely worth five stars.

    (5)
  • Dede B.

Some of the best food on the Olympic Peninsula! Generous portion sizes (like burritos the size of my head!) and amazing flavors. I LOVE the Smoker burrito or the Devil's pork sandwich. Fun, funky decor, and the staff are super friendly.

Ate here after a 1208-mile hike from Montana to Cape Alava. Food was incredible, mad filling and the owner is a Ween fan!

  • Younique Natural C.

I just love the decor of this place, totally my style! Extremely good food at a low price. They offer free delivery if you don't feel like waiting to dine in. I had two pork tacos with mango peach salsa and one beef taco. The mango peach salsa is to die for! Just wish it had an all around better vibe, and wasn't so crowded. I guess its a good thing, though. Keep this place in business!

Stopped in for lunch on a bike ride today and was not disappointed. My husband had the beer can chicken tacos and I had the Smoker. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Service good, too. Check out the lovely tatooed legs man!

The Devil's Pork sandwich is amazing! The smoked pulled pork, and apple cabbage slaw is the perfect combination.

  • Evan C.

Found this place via yelp while on the ferry back from Victoria, did not disappoint! They suggested tacos to sample the different meats, so I ordered the pulled pork, chicken, and spicy chorizo, which was my favorite. My only complaint is that they close a bit early, 6 pm on a Thursday, with a good 3 hours of daylight left.

    (5)
  • Cassi D.

Best Mexican food I've had in the northwest! I am from Southern California and have been in withdrawal....this really hit the spot. The fresh salsa was super tasty and I loved all three meats I tried in the tacos - one of each chicken, brisket, and pork. My husband had a chorizo burrito and was in heaven (after suffering the same withdrawal from good Mexican food). They also had an awesome selection of unique beer and drinks.

This place is just what Port Angeles needed. A great lunch spot with fair prices and amazing food. I was here 6/7 days of their first week open and come at LEAST once a week for lunch. I work downtown and am a huge fan of the free delivery - their toddy iced coffee is the best in town mmm. The tacos are my favorite and the salmon bisque is so so yum! Can't miss this place if you're visiting or hungry for that matter.

    (5)
  • Ruth H.

AMAZING. Quick delivery and the food is great. The salsa is flavorful and fresh. The meat used in the tacos is succulent and comes in delightfully large chunks so that you know it's real meat.

  • Heidi K.

Best tacos in Puget Sound. After a 25 mi bike ride with a labrador it hit the spot. Great flavor, ingredients and value! Had 3 shredded beef tacos combo for $8. Better than the tacos in Arizona! A gem of a restaurant hidden off the main road on West 1st. Worth the drive. Chipotle sauce is excellent! Thank you. Will be back!

    (5)
  • Jeff B.

The pulled pork is smoked to perfection! Pulled pork sandwich with melted cheddar and caramelized onions was out of this world. The Diablo Puerco burrito was STUFFED, it seemed like it weighed 5 pounds and my dad gets it most of the time he comes in. Pulled pork tacos with cabbage apple slaw were large and tasty. You can't go wrong here, consistent and tasty every time!

Dropped in here after a long hike and got the pork burrito. Probably in the top 3 burritos I have ever had, and I eat a good deal of burritos. These guys got it down, you can also tell that they have their own style. This is no cookie cutter restaurant trying to please every person out there. They do what they do, they do it well, and they take pride in it.

Awesome Place! Iv'e had the Brisket Burrito and Pulled Pork burrito both were delicious and HUGE! You will leave full if you get one of these and your wallet will be happy too. Just as good as some of the best Taco Trucks I've had down in California, if not better, by far the best burritos in the area. Just something about fresh tender smoked meats in a burrito that hits the spot. It will be hard not to stop by for a bite every time I get a chance to head out to PA. Thanks to the fellow Yelpers for your reviews which put this place on my radar, I have found a gem.

Wham bam thank you ma'am! Just what I needed! Came into town looking for lunch, almost went to any old Mexican place when someone pointed me to this place. Yowza! Pulled pork tacos hit the spot, guac and sour cream with lettuce and salsa on top. Mmmmm! $7 bucks for 3 tacos and chips, a steal. Beer, local sodas and a wide salsa and hot sauce selection. Staff was in good spirits, talking to each other and patrons. Felt like I was in someone's kitchen at home. That's what I like! I will DEFINITELY be back to try out more of their menu.

Love, love, love, when I can get a table. The pork is amazing! Rumor has it the pork tacos are killer. I love the easy-going vibe and the varied crowd. And the amazing food. I just wish it were a bit bigger!

This is a great little taco joint. The music can be too loud, because the kitchen is right out in the open and apparently the cook likes to rock out. It can be really hot or cold, there seems to be no ventilation so opening the door or closing it seems to be the solution to the extreme temperature issues. But once you get past the comfort issues (that's why I gave it only four stars- those issues matter to me...I like to be comfortable) it is really good. I have had the salads, and they are generous and fresh! I have had many versions of their tacos- wow really yummy. I have had the burrito, my advice is to share...it is a monster, but oh so good. The many different salsas are always good and again very fresh tasting. You have to stand in line to order and then they bring you your food. They have different kinds of meat that you can put in the different entrees. I think there is two kinds of Pork, beef brisket, and chicken. I usually get the pork or the beef- I wish it had a more traditional Mexican flavor, it is pretty bbqish smoky...but that makes this place special and unique. I just personally prefer a more traditional flavor. There are not very many tables, so if you like to eat right at noon you may wait for a table. It is worth the wait! Go have a taco- you won't be sorry!

The BEST smoked Mexican food you will find! The owner.definitely found what is lacking in our town and supplied us with what we crave. I lunch there at least twice a week, never dissatisfied. Prices are low, quality is high. As "LDL" is becoming more popular, lines are getting longer - pro-tip, call ahead. Want it hotter? Tell the owner, he will be happy to add heat. Best of P.A.

Excellent casual lunch spot. LOVE the Smoker, a gigantic smoked brisket burrito that comes with fresh-tasting chips and salsa (several kinds to choose from), plus a local soda. Had a spicy pulled chicken sandwich (takeout) about a week ago that was out of this world. The smoked meats here are tender, smoky without overpowering the flavor of the meat, and just the right amount of fat for that extra deliciousness. I was told they smoke the meats every day right in the building. Prices are affordable. Service is quick and friendly. Hope this place sticks around for a long time!

One of the best new little lunch places to open up on the peninsula. Their menu is mainly burritos and sandwiches but the care and skill that goes into each dish really shines through. I'm a huge fan of their Bantha burritos, (the beer can chicken is my fave), and the quality and size of their portions makes them an eminantly affordable lunch or dinner. Went today and had their Chicken Club on ciabatta and almost ate my fingers along with my sandwich! Really really good, really affordable and the folks who work there really care!

This is a great place. We picked up lunch to bring on the ferry to Victoria. I had the Cuban, tasty, large size and delicious. My husband had the pulled pork. Incredible! We are upset that we live on the other side of the country but we are glad we had the opportunity to enjoy The Little Devil Lunchbox that day.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
